Terms and Conditions

Comms vNext Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or attending Comms vNext (the “Event”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all attendees, including sponsors, exhibitors, and participants. Additional terms may be specified in other agreements, such as sponsorship contracts, media contracts, and more.

2. Code of Conduct

Comms vNext is designed to be an educational, social, and fun event. We want everyone to enjoy themselves! By attending, you agree to behave in a respectful and inclusive manner. Harassment, inappropriate behavior, or discrimination will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the event without a refund. Be kind, have fun, and help make the event great for everyone!

3. Health and Safety

We are over the days of event-specific COVID protocols, but we still expect everyone to act responsibly and follow any general health and safety guidelines provided by the venue. If you’re not feeling well, consider joining us next year or virtually.

4. Intellectual Property

All content shared at the event—presentations, materials, and recordings—is protected by intellectual property laws. Comms vNext and the speakers retain all rights to their content. Informal social photography and video are encouraged for sharing your experiences online, but do not use content to misappropriate our brand or others’ intellectual property. Attendees are not granted ownership rights to any event content unless explicitly provided by the content owner.

5. Liability Limitations

Comms vNext and its organizers are not liable for damages, losses, or injuries you may experience during the event. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your event ticket. We cannot be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

6. Event Changes

Sometimes things change—we might adjust the schedule, swap out speakers, or move things around. If there are significant changes or cancellations, we’ll keep you updated as best we can. In case of event cancellation, we’ll issue refunds as applicable.

7. Data Usage Transparency

Sponsors make our event possible, and part of that support involves sharing some attendee information. This includes your name, email, company, and job title, which may be shared with event sponsors so they can send you relevant follow-ups after the event. If you prefer to opt out of this, please refer to our Privacy Policy for the opt-out mechanism.

8. Photography and Video

By attending the event, you consent to your image being used in event photos or videos for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in media, kindly inform the organizers upon arrival.

9. Force Majeure

If unforeseen circumstances—like natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions—prevent the event from happening, we won’t be liable for any delays or cancellations caused by those events.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be handled in the courts located in Colorado.
